The term “hoppers” most commonly refers to a staple food in Sri Lankan cuisine.
Hoppers are bowl-shaped pancakes popular in Sri Lanka and parts of South India. They are made from a fermented batter of rice flour and coconut milk, giving them a soft, spongy center and thin, crispy edges.
